Manager, Food & Nutrition (Food Services)
Job Summary: Provides supervision for all aspects of food production, preparation and handles the administrative responsibilities for the production group at an account. Ensures client satisfaction and account retention through business practices in order to uphold the company and clients Values and Mission Statements. Adheres to all regulations such as Title 22 and Department of Health as required. Provides in-service programs as needed. Maintains clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be neat in appearance and have good grooming habits. Must be able to be tactful and courteous at all times with both residents and employees. Must be able to respond to resident's needs and expectations. Must have a desire to make the dining experience for residents a pleasurable one. Must be able to maintain and coordinate clean and sanitary work areas. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must have wait staff or a food preparation background. Should have at least five years of total food service experience and have had some lead person responsibilities
