Technatomy is seeking a Director, Microsoft Product Group to oversee the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role will be responsible for managing multiple VA programs, ensuring high-quality execution, and driving customer success in alignment with VA's digital transformation and IT modernization objectives. The Portfolio Manager will serve as a key liaison between internal project teams, VA stakeholders, and Technatomy's operations leadership, ensuring that all contract requirements, budget constraints, and strategic goals are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Microsoft Product Portfolio Management:
· Oversee the execution of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 projects for the VA, ensuring compliance with VA IT policies, security standards, and contract requirements.
· Develop and maintain a portfolio roadmap that tracks project milestones, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Ensure Dynamics 365 solutions align with VA enterprise architecture, digital transformation priorities, and Veteran-centric service delivery goals.
Solution Architecture & Resilience:
· Lead the design and implementation of well-architected, resilient, and scalable Dynamics 365 solutions that meet high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
· Collaborate with enterprise architects, DevSecOps teams, and VA IT leaders to ensure solutions comply with VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC), zero trust security principles, and FedRAMP standards.
· Promote the adoption of automation, monitoring, and self-healing capabilities to enhance system performance and reduce operational risk.
Internal Community of Practice (CoP) Leadership:
· Establish and lead an internal Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community of Practice (CoP) to drive excellence in delivery, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
· Organize regular knowledge-sharing sessions, technical deep dives, and best practice discussions for Microsoft product teams.
· Mentor project managers, developers, and consultants on Microsoft technologies, VA compliance standards, and agile delivery frameworks.
· Partner with Technatomy's training and development teams to implement skill-building programs for Microsoft specialists.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement:
· Serve as the primary interface with VA leadership, contracting officers, and key program stakeholders.
· Establish and maintain trusted relationships with VA OIT, VHA, VBA, and NCA stakeholders.
· Provide regular project status reports, risk assessments, and performance updates to VA leadership and Technatomy executives.
Compliance & Risk Management:
· Ensure all Microsoft projects adhere to VA security, compliance, and governance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, RMF, FISMA, and Section 508).
· Maintain strict compliance with VA contract requirements, performance SLAs, and IT governance policies.
· Implement Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps best practices to streamline project delivery.
VEMSIS Ingest Lead:
· Lead the intake, assessment, and prioritization of new product requests for development by Technatomy as a systems integrator and application developer.
· Work with VA stakeholders to gather requirements, validate business needs, and align requests with VA's IT modernization strategy.
· Collaborate with Technatomy's engineering, architecture, and product teams to define solution approaches, resource needs, and implementation timelines.
· Ensure all ingested product requests comply with VA security, interoperability, and data governance policies.
· Track the progress of ingested requests from ideation through development and deployment, ensuring transparency and alignment with VA priorities.
Team Leadership & Resource Management:
· Provide leadership to project managers, functional consultants, developers, and engineers delivering Dynamics 365 solutions.
· Ensure optimal resource allocation and skill alignment for successful project execution.
· Foster a collaborative, Veteran-focused culture emphasizing innovation, quality, and mission-driven outcomes.
Strategic Growth & Business Development Support:
· Support capture and proposal efforts for VA contracts involving Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.
· Identify opportunities to enhance VA's adoption of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities to improve Veteran services.
· Collaborate with Technatomy's business development and solution teams to expand its VA portfolio.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5 years managing Microsoft implementations.
· Proven experience supporting VA programs, with deep knowledge of VA's ITecosystem, digital modernization efforts, and compliance requirements.
· Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Finance & Operations (F&O), and Power Platform products.
· Strong understanding of cloud architecture, high availability, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices.
· Experience implementing Agile, SAFe, and PMI methodologies, with PMP, SAFe, or ITIL certification preferred.
· Exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and risk management skills.
· Ability to navigate VA procurement, contract management, and performance reporting requirements.
· Experience with the VA Digital Transformation Center, Microsoft Government Cloud products, and VA IT governance frameworks preferred.
· Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure Solutions Architecture desired.
· Background in enterprise data integration and interoperability within VA systems preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
Experience with the VA Digital Transformation Center, Microsoft Government Cloud products, and VA IT governance frameworks.
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure Solutions Architecture.
Background in enterprise data integration and interoperability within VA systems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
CLEARANCE:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
WORK LOCATION
Remote with occasional travel to VA sites.
