The Assistant Project Managerwill assist the Sr. Project Manager by providing overall management direction and ensures proper execution and timely completion of all assigned projects.

Primary Responsibilities:
Plans, organizes, and staffs key field positions and projectsEstablishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policyInitiates and maintains relationships with prime clients and contacts in order to facilitate construction activitiesMonitors/controls construction through administrative direction of on-site contacts to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measuresRepresents company in project meetings, assists in strategy meetings, etc.Manages financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect companys interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with ClientResponsible for ordering material and cost projectionsOther duties as assigned
Experience, Skill, and Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Building Science or Construction Management preferred; or 5 years of previous experience in construction, design, or project managementExperience with construction software Procore is preferred but not requiredAbility to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performanceThorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activitiesAbility to communicate both verbally and thorough writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable mannerAbility to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional mannerAbility to comprehend, summarize, edit and analyze dataAbility to create, edit and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files and Power Point presentationsAbility to create, navigate, search and update Rogers Electrics systems (work orders, reports, quotes, invoices etc., emails)Proficiency in MS Office Suite
