Digital Media Editor - Foreign Service Institute (Education)

ICA is seeking qualified candidates to staff the Digital Media Editors position at a client's location at the Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, VA. The candidates must be local to the Washington DC/ NCR/DMV region.

Required qualifications:

• BA/BS, MA/MS, or Ph.D., or foreign equivalent degree in Graphic Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, etc.
• One year of experience or education in the field of Educational Technology or Digital Media Design
• One year of experience using a Learning Management System as an instructor or administrator
• Experience creating digital training materials: course content, teaching manuals, student guides, e-books, and interactive media
• Experience using Office and Graphic Design Applications
• Knowledge of basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in desktop publishing graphic design.
• One (1) year of experience training instructors in using digital training techniques
• Project management experience.
• Experience in Google for Education.
• Knowledge of Instruction Design Theory and Methods.
• Expertise in MS Office and graphic design (Adobe Premier, Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud apps)
• Proficiency in Italian, Spanish, Russian, French, or Mandarin

Start date: ASAP 

End date: 8/15/2025 (with a possibility of annual contract extension)

Schedule: 40 hrs/week; Situational telework (selected candidate should be available for work onsite at any time/at all times if needed
