As our Senior External Affairs Liaison, you will:
Be responsible for researching, analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on the potential impact of proposed legislation and regulatory activity on SPP, its members, and stakeholders. Your main focus will be advising and assisting the Senior Vice President for External Affairs and Stakeholder Relations in matters related to local, state, regional, and federal government and regulatory affairs.
Additionally, you will collaborate with the Director of External Affairs and Stakeholder Relations to develop and implement programs for member companies. This will involve educating elected officials, their staff, and business trade organizations on the roles and responsibilities of our company.
Furthermore, you will work closely with other members of the External Affairs organization to define and execute a strategy for external affairs and stakeholder outreach.
Your role as the Senior External Affairs Liaison is crucial in ensuring that SPP remains informed, engaged, and proactive in navigating the ever-evolving legislative and regulatory landscape.
