Bachelor's degree required,
Successful collegiate coaching and recruiting experience required.

Essential Functions:
Coordinate team travel.
Meet established annual fundraising goals.
Know and comply with all conference rules and requirements for bass fishing, including stats, game hosting, etc.
Communicate effectively the rules of the sport to the players.
Keep abreast of new information, innovative ideas, and techniques in the sport by attending clinics, reading new information, and networking with other coaches in the profession.
Maintain accurate records, player information and game statistics.
Help with responsibility of equipment and uniform issuing and care.
Exhibit regular attendance at all team meetings, practices, and games.
Help emphasize proper safety procedures in training for the sport and keep abreast of injury procedures.
Help administer the athletic study halls or tutoring for student-athletes who need the extra help.
Develops a program schedule and outline of activities.
Supervise the Bass Fishing Team activities, practices and competitions.
Schedules and supervises a pre and post-season meeting.
Evaluates Bass Fishing Team outcomes and develops and implements improvements.
Effectively use social media to promote Bass Fishing program.
Have awareness, accountability and educate student-athletes on the proper use of social media.
Provide Christ-centered, servant-leadership in all areas of the bass fishing program.
Provide accountability and discipline for student-athletes spiritually, socially, academically and athletically.
Recruit and retain quality student-athletes who can succeed academically and are an institutional fit.
Maintain established program roster size goal and discount rate established by the university.
Ensures that members understand the expectations of the Bass Fishing Team, represent academic excellence with the school, and serve as good role models for the student body.
Adhere to all field trip/transportation procedures for activities/practices/competitions and supervises participation during trips.
