Senior Patient Services Representative (Sr. PSR)
At OU Health Physicians Tulsa, patients receive the latest medical advancements expected of a leading university clinic. The services and their experience are delivered by a dedicated team with diverse experience. As a Senior Patient Services Representative, you will act as a customer service agent, ensuring that our customers receive the best experience that can be provided. These individuals are also responsible for providing clerical assistance toward the smooth operation of an outpatient facility. Please see below for an overview of expectations.
Essential Duties:
Referrals incoming/outgoing: performs pre-visit planning duties such as processing new referrals, obtaining reports, updating status, close and complete and answers questions; after and between visit duties, such as follow up on alerts and documents, send/receive referral faxes, facilitate referrals to other providers, verify insurance, refer internally to OUP, ensure patient is scheduled and notified, track monitor and close referrals, secures referrals to specialists to be seen in the clinic.
Qualifications:
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED, AND:
Preferred Experience: 36 months in a clinical enviroment.
