Finance Director (Association) (Project Management)

As the Finance Director at the YMCA of the Fox Cities, youll be surrounded by a dedicated and cause-driven team. Youll apply your skills and talent to ensure the preparation of complete and accurate financial statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). As our chief accountant, you will assist the Chief Financial Officer in managing all financial accounting, internal controls and budgeting operations to ensure the fiscal health and stability of one of the largest non-profits in northeastern Wisconsin. One of your priorities will be to safeguard the YMCAs financial resources and provide a solid basis for accurate & timely financial data.

Position Duties
Provide oversight and leadership for finance team. Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure department success.Responsible for accuracy of the accounting information.Certify the reporting of all operations, transactions, assets and liabilities of the YMCA for all funds, including unrestricted, temporarily restricted and permanently restricted.Manages the annual independent audit and budgeting process.Ability to prepares financial statements and own the process surrounding the preparation.Serves as an accounting resource person to management and program personnel within our organization.

This is a full-time exempt position, located at our Appleton (downtown) YMCA.
