Position Summary:
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry and the Office of Strategic and Educational Initiatives are seeking a dynamic, skilled administrator to support the operations of two offices focused on delivering high quality undergraduate education. Primary responsibilities include support for daily operations, human resources, budget and finance, and event planning and implementation, This is a part-time position totaling 24 hours per week. Fifteen hours will be for the Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry and 9 hours for the Office of Strategic and Educational Initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Statement: The ideal candidate will have high-level administrative skills and strong communication and organizations skills to work effectively across two offices.
Workplace Requirements
This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. In-office work is required for office events. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Rate: $24/hour
*Non-Exempt (hourly) positions under FLSA are eligible for overtime.
