Fall River Health Services is looking for a Part Time Laundry Worker who will be responsible for the effective cleaning, processing, and distribution of linens, and other textile items to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, residents, staff, and visitors. Schedule: Monday - Friday 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Responsibilities: Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and garments according to established procedures. Operate and maintain industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and finishing machines. Quality Control: Inspect items for stains, damage, or contamination; take appropriate action as necessary. Ensure all items are processed according to hospital infection control policies. Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control of linens and supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and monitor equipment usage. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
