Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in supporting providers through both administrative duties and direct patient care. This position is crucial in ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction by delivering outstanding service.
Duties / Responsibilities:
• Function as the Licensed Practical Nurse for designated provider(s).
• Assist providers with managing their inboxes, prescription refills, and faxes.
• Participate in rooming patients, demonstrating proficiency in both the rooming process and patient intake procedures.
• Prepare, stock, clean, and maintain examination and treatment rooms, as well as related equipment.
• Organize patient charts by incorporating external lab results and notes from other providers; ensure all relevant lab reports and diagnostic test results are available.
• Contribute to accurate patient chart documentation.
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Practice Management (EPM) systems according to established protocols.
• Provide patient education, escort patients to the front desk for scheduling needs.
• Manage patient callbacks and respond promptly to inquiries submitted through the patient portal.
• Cross-train in various clinical areas, including lab work, phlebotomy, and front desk responsibilities as needed.
• Attend and participate in department meetings and clinical trainings as scheduled.
• Comply with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Adhere to OnePeak Medical's policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Policies.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as needed to support OnePeak Medical.
• Demonstrate flexibility by traveling to other clinics if required to meet business needs.
• Potentially drive a personal vehicle in accordance with company policy

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent – Required
• Current BLS and/or CPR/AED Certification – Required
• 1–2 years of recent LPN experience – Strongly Preferred
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse Certification – Required
• CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) Certification – Strongly Preferred
