Essential Functions: Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment; a priority for this role. Conduct all daily functions necessary of Human ResourcesEfficiently expedite new hire onboarding and orientation. Assists in day-to-day administration of insurance benefits and 401k. Plans, prepares, and facilitates monthly employee appreciation events, birthday celebrations and assists wherever needed with other events within the facility.Active role in employee relation issues including but not limited to coaching, counseling and corrective action that accommodates the employee and Vitracoats best interest. Experience based, ability to demonstrate good decision making during a difficult situation. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Assist Safety Manager with record keeping and investigations.File workers compensation claims, assist with investigations and maintain injury log.Manage and track employee time keeping, including vacation, personal time and recording any disruptions to the employees regular work schedules.
