DevSecOps Engineer (Transportation)
About the Role
ATI is building a world-class software development team to create new and support our existing product portfolio. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in a company with mature DevSecOps processes. This individual will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts to support our transition from a monolithic application to a cloud-native architecture. The ideal candidate will also have a strong interest in cloud architecture and will play a key role in shaping our future Azure-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Implement and manage DevSecOps processes, ensuring security, compliance, and automation are integrated into development workflows.Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support software development and deployment.Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and security enforcement.Monitor and optimize build and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or Ansible.Collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and architects to ensure best practices in software delivery and cloud migration.Assist in cloud architecture planning to transition a Windows-based desktop application into a cloud-native solution.Ensure security best practices are enforced in the software development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, dependency management, and infrastructure security.Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps pipeline and infrastructure issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2-4 years of hands-on DevSecOps experience in a company with mature DevSecOps practices.Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, artifact management, and deployment automation.Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their role in cloud-native architectures.Experience in security automation tools for vulnerability scanning, compliance checking, and secure CI/CD.Understanding of cloud architectures, especially within Azure.Familiarity with Windows-based applications, Visual Studio, and .NET environments.U.S. citizen eligible for DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in cloud migration strategies, including breaking down monolithic applications into microservices.Knowledge of Azure security best practices and governance.Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud environments.Experience with API management and service mesh technologies.Experience with DevSecOps in IL5 and IL6 environments is preferred but not required.
