Job Summary
Develop a modern endpoint strategy for efficient device management, compliance and user experiences leveraging Microsoft 365 platforms that aligns with business objectives.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize endpoint configurations and enhance productivity across the organization whilst enforcing high security standards.
Oversee the design, configuration and deployment of devices and collaborate with local IT teams to ensure solution is fit for purpose to support local/regional business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and manage the endpoint strategy for the M365 suite leveraging InTune with a focus on defining the configuration and deployment standards for the global suite.
- Monitor and enforce security policies for endpoints, ensure compliance with CRH Group, Regional and Divisional standards and regulatory requirements and investigate and remediate security incidents.
- Oversee the application lifecycle strategy for endpoint devices, work with the local teams to assign apps and policies to users and devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including service desk to resolve endpoint related issues. Communicate effectively and provide guidance on best practices for endpoint management.
- Work with various teams to configure user profiles and settings and customize user experiences based on roles and responsibilities. Look for opportunities to enhance user experience and optimize activity.
- Interact with Microsoft and other vendors to stay informed on updates, licensing, new features etc.
- Identify opportunities to enhance central technology services and process optimization whilst working across various teams to improve service performance.
- Integrate Intune with other systems, customize workflows and develop solutions to satisfy business / IT requirements
- Continuously assess and improve endpoint services, platforms and software to drive performance, scalability and user experience whilst aligning with business needs and technological advancements.
- Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices whilst providing subject matter expertise in relevant domains. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose solutions.
- Oversee and manage a team, ensure collaboration and maximize effectiveness between the Central Technology Services team and regional / divisional IT teams.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint management, device enrolment and a strong understanding of compliance policies.
- Ability to influence and guide people through transitions, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Awareness of security best practices, knowledge of security threats and ability to develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrable experience (8+ years) of leading an Endpoint management team including the running of BAU protocols & procedures, with experience of leading IAM projects, management of timelines, risks etc.
- Relevant 3rd level qualification, preferably at Masters' level or alternatively have significant experiential knowledge to offset formal qualification.
