Account Relationship Manager - Southern California (Sales)

We need of an energetic and dedicated sales professional to help us to maintain and build accounts in and around Upland, CA, including Los Angelas, the Inland Empire and throughout Orange County. This position will support and be supported by our branch located in Upland, CA.
Successful candidates will be familiar with the area, have solid sales experience, strong organization skills, and an ongoing desire to provide our customers with the best customer experience possible.

Account Managers partner with our Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to offer new and existing customers a wide variety of solutions designed to improve their bottom line. Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
- Establish and implement sales growth plan for each customer and location
- Gain consistent understanding of our Value Proposition and execute it
- Always look for ways to provide value to our customers, documenting cost savings and reporting back to the customer
- Partner with local supplier representatives and Specialists to create value and improved efficiencies for all customers
- Develop a pipeline of customer prospects through networking, referrals, research and cold calling, utilizing our CRM (Salesforce)
- Plan, organize and schedule territory development
- Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
- Mastery of Stellar systems and tools
- Strive to constantly improve
Performs other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Meet or exceed budgeted amounts monthly and YTD
- Prepare target/key account sales plans, including SalesForce and Documented Cost Savings (DCS) activities
- Constant development of product knowledge
- Familiar with MS Office
- Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in written form
- Self-motivated and well organized
- Prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts
- Interpret complex information
- Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgement and a realistic understanding of issues
- Technical aptitude
- Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight
- Valid driver license
Experience
- Must have at least three to five years outside sales experience
- Industry related, metalworking or cutting tool experience is desirable but not required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
