The lab clerk performs various administrative duties that help the lab group meet departmental goals in a manner that reflects the company's vision of working as “One Professional Team.”

Pay Rate:  $15.57 - $21.84 per hour
Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Registers the day's samples on the computer
  • Adds new customers and machine compartments to the database as needed
  • Verifies customer address or machine ownership where needed
  • Completes the manual data entry
  • Ensures test data is complete and correct for evaluation
  • Sorts lab's daily run of customer reports and feedback copies of sample reports for the day
  • Logs in Level II Coolant samples and ships out for test work as needed
  • Assists in shipping out other samples for test work when needed
  • Assists in getting the warranty letters out
  • Assists in invoicing special sample services as needed
  • Performs various administrative tasks to support the lab
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years administrative/clerical experience
  • 1-3 years customer service experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

  • Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
  • Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
  • Safety & Product Knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word

Work Environment:

  • Noise: Quiet
  • Indoors
