ECE Afternoon Infant Lead PIC (Person In Charge) (Education)
Infant Afternoon Lead PIC Teacher - availability to work between 12:30pm-6:30pm Monday thru Friday, as well as being PIC (person in charge after Director leaves) with answering questions from parents or staff and closing the building down.
The hiring range for this position is $19.65-$22.80 per hour.

Position Summary:
Provide direction for the program and staff, and implement program curriculum in a safe, enjoyable, positive and inclusive environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Plan and Implement daily lesson and activity plansSupervise all children and activities within program area, often independentlyManage a classroom of up to 20 children including maintain a daily schedule, responding to individual needs and creating a positive climate.Regularly observes, schedules and completes evaluations for each childMaintain communication with parents, conduct regularly scheduled parent conferences, and engage parents as volunteersMaintain materials, equipment, and program facilityMaintain required program recordsDiapering and toilet training including assisting children in changing out of soiled clothing.Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum age 18, 21 preferred.Meet educational and experience qualifications established by Department of Child Youth and Families (DCYF). Including ECE college certificates / coursework within 5 years of position or as designated by the DCYFProvide documentation of all certification and training requirements established by DCYF, including position prerequisites, current negative TB test, MMR vaccination or proof of immunity, and portable background checkPlan, organize, and implement high quality developmentally appropriate programmingFluency in second language preferredEarly Achievers knowledge preferred

Physical Demands:
As directed, lead and participate in a range of activities in indoor/outdoor settings. Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise program activities. Staff may be required to move weights of approximately 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
