JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting & Tax Support individual assists the Accounting and Tax Department in an administrative function. This Job Description encompasses the responsibilities of both.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in the organization and filing of business licenses.
- Processes and verifies employee expense reports and general ledger account coding.
- Maintains schedules and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
- Prints and distributes invoices.
- Reconciliation of monthly sales.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Well organized person with strong administrative and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in accounting.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in general office practices.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in processing & analyzing expense reports.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task.
- Computer literate and possess accurate computer skills.
- Able to organize and prioritize workloads.
