Director of Facilities (Project Management)
Duties
Based on reports, collaborates with the chain of command to determine the greatest facility need, communicates directly with property management to proactively address facility needs, and conducts site visits as needed.On-site visits may be required in a facility emergency (e.g., fire, water line break, fire sprinkler system activation, HVAC or electrical outage, etc.)On-site visits are used to analyze, evaluate, and prioritize needs, and create action plans that may include immediate hands-on repairs and vendor support.At times if needed the Facility Director will need to assist with repairs when time is of the essence.Provides management with up-to-date status on assigned projects using designated tracking reports (e.g., WorkOasis)Select vendors and manage vendor activity/performance to ensure compliance with the objectives of the project.Ensures project completion on time, at cost.Other duties as assigned.
