Enrollment Management Assistant (Finance)

Hiring Salary/Salary Range: $18.37/hour
DUTIES:
Produces special request letters related to enrollment and degree certification on behalf of the university. Processes manual updates to National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) records. Responds to routine requests for enrollment information by explaining USF's participation with NSC, reviews enrollment processing information on the URO's site and makes recommendations to maintain accuracy.
Researches and resolves problems to produce enrollment certifications Makes independent determinations concerning student enrollment statues.
Lead area in responding to student inquires received via phone and through shared mailboxes.
Responsible for ensuring confidentiality of student data. Performs all work with confidential and sensitive student information under observance of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and other federal and State guidelines. Informs the individuals working with confidential student information about legal restrictions, privileges, and ethical considerations surrounding its use.
Supports the mission of Student Success, Strategic Enrollment Management, and the URO with other duties as assigned, including serving as an outstanding team member by assisting colleagues in high volume periods. Updates professional knowledge by attending professional meetings, local and state conferences, and training sessions at the request of the University Registrar, and actively contributes to the ongoing editing of our office procedures through our Wiki. Regularly updates Enrollment Management Analystr on status of projects, highlighting important issues and areas concern.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma is required with at least two years of customer service experience preferred with the ability to resolve information while listening to customer concerns and questions.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Ellucian Banner, including BDM document management; academic polices and procedures, customer oriented. Professional experience in an institution of higher education is a plus.
