Lead Plant Operator (Manufacturing)
Liquid Environmental is seeking a LEAD PLANT OPERATOR for our Phoenix Wastewater Plant
Pay: $25 to 26/hr to start
Schedule: Monday through Friday
5am to 2pm shift with occasional OT
*Some Saturdays required
Location: 5159 W Van Buren St, Phoenix
SUMMARY:
The Lead Plant Operator is responsible for supervising and training plant operators, ensuring safe and compliant plant operations, and overseeing daily activities at the site. This role involves managing the treatment of wastewater, monitoring site conditions, maintaining regulatory compliance, and facilitating customer service. Additionally, the Lead collaborates with other departments, compiles reports, manages administrative tasks, and ensures that all employees adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position also requires support with human resources tasks, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives for plant productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: * Wastewater experience or related experience.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Waste Operator Level 1 License/Certification (Highly Preferred).
WORK ENVIRONMENT: * Periods of working in hot or cold weather.
