JOB SUMMARY: Will perform the shipping, receiving, routing, and verification of all merchandise under the direction of the immediate supervisor. Organizes, distributes, and manages inventory for incoming and outgoing company products and parts necessary to manufacturing of products. This role will also ensure the processing and movement of products and handle all claims and queries with buyers to provide feedback to the supplier. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Verify all incoming shipments for correct waybill information and visible damage. Communicate and follow-up on discrepancies with the appropriate party. - Arrange and process products to be returned to suppliers or delivered to customers, coordinating the best method of transport. Ensure that shipping documents are accurately completed. - Process product returned from manufacturing and coordinate with warehouse team on storage of product into the warehouse. - Coordinate product holds, inspections, and releases withQuality team. Execute tasks with Vendor Managed Inventory including, but not limited to, yard checks and emails to vendors. - Perform multiple AS400 transactions to receive product in to the warehouse system. Oversee staging of materials for production line changeovers. - Maintain, update, and verify accuracy of receiving records. Perform and coordinate consolidation of raw materials to maximize storage capacity in the warehouse. - Perform other duties as assigned. And much more! Education - High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant Work Experience - At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations practices or inventory management. Additional - Experience accomplishing tasks in an optimum order based on time, importance or other criteria. - To perform core functions of the position must have the ability to perform basic math (addition and subtraction). - To perform core functions of the position, must have the ability to read and understand information presented in writing and to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences in English.Benefits - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
