Human Resources Intern (Human Resources)
Maintains employee records, including training sessions, evaluations, new employee data, data changes, and terminations. Compiles reports as needed.
Prepares new employee files and completes new employee documentation.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
Assists with the recruitment and interview process by tracking the status of candidates, conducting phone interviews, and responds with follow-up communication at the end of the recruiting process.
Organizes and presents at new employee orientation to ensure that new employees feel prepared to begin their employment and process necessary paperwork to meet deadlines.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintains all employee databases and HR relevant files according to accepted rules of legal compliance.
Create company announcement materials and distributes announcements to the appropriate areas.
Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Maintains security badges and other assets for employees and contractors.
Support of, and involvement in, lifelong learning.
General HR support and assistance with HR projects, as assigned.
