Student Affairs Financial Analyst (Project Management)
The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for the portion of the collegiate experience that occurs outside the classroom. Our departments specialize in the areas of career services, leadership and volunteerism activities, student life activities, student conduct, housing and food, health services, and more. We also provide student affairs services on OU's Tulsa, Health Sciences Center, and Arezzo, Italy campuses. Student Affairs strives to enhance students' academic success by developing student skills, cultivating diverse, campus life experiences and enriching the university community through programs and services.
This position will provide daily financial and human resources support for the Vice President of Student Affairs Office and/or other assigned areas within the Division. Support will include accounts receivable and payable, departmental transfers, monthly financial reconciliations, routine and custom reports, expense versus budget comparisons, PCI-DSS compliance, on- and off-boarding employees, creating job descriptions, and posting job listings. The Financial Analyst will provide support for routine campus-wide processes including the budget process, Personnel Review Cycle (PRC), and performance reviews. This position will also provide day-to-day support for departments within the Division of Student Affairs including communicating and interpreting policies and answering questions regarding campus procedures.
Duties:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, AND:
Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.
