Position Summary:
The Staff Assistant (Gift Planning) provides overall administrative support for a group of gift planning officers on the Gift Planning team at Rice University. Typical duties include managing calendars, collecting data and producing periodic reports, assisting with data entry, filing electronic and physical documents, arranging for travel and business meetings, and managing expense reports.

The ideal candidate must be organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, and should also have demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Workplace Requirements - This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. Per Rice policy 440, work arrangements may be subject to change. The position allows for three remote working days.
*Nonexempt positions under FLSA are eligible for overtime.
