Beltservice is a family-owned business. We focus on adding value to everything we touch, starting with our products and ending with the benefits they provide for our customers. We specialize in converting large rolls of belting into what our clients need for their applications. This kind of work requires specialized equipment. Equipment that we believe our operators should enjoy using and allow them to produce quality output safely, efficiently, and easily. The collective talent and discipline of the engineering team enable us to create anything from simple to highly complex solutions. Our work can be comprised of blank page design, sourcing new machines, machine modifications, automation opportunities and process improvements. The success of the team is accomplished by teamwork, hands-on evaluation, testing, and collaboration with production employees and process experts.
You would be joining a team of seven, five of which are here in St. Louis, and two located in Vancouver, WA. We have a recently remodeled dedicated engineering office space. Solidworks (with PDM) is our 3D design platform, this includes one shared seat of Simulation. For our few 2D needs, we use Draftsight. The Engineering Department has dedicated toolboxes, a large format paper plotter, and we also have (3) 3D printers including a Raise 3D Pro, Bamboo, and recently a 22 Idex V3. We have made great strides in the last few years on our in-house capability with controls and PLC programming -Siemens is our PLC of choice. The Engineering office connects to our in-house machine shop where our machinists fabricate a large portion of our components.
Beltservice is on a transformative journey, learning and exercising LEAN principles and problem-solving methods in our day-to-day operation. If you have a passion for machine design, optimizing equipment, improving the operator experience and driving continuous improvement, you may find just what you are looking for at Beltservice.
