About the Role
The Inside Sales Associate will exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers, have the ability to manage and grow existing accounts, and pursue new business accounts.
What You'll Do
- Selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products
- Increasing business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers
- Pursuing product applications by utilizing personal knowledge, internal specialist/resources, vendor representatives and other available sources.
- Establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Learning and evaluating customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
- Processing product quotations in conjunction with inside sales counterparts and provide continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.
- Ability to respond to a variety of challenging circumstances while continuing to demonstrate superior selling skills for important customer services and applications
- Use industrial & electrical product knowledge to better communicate with customers • Use negotiating skills while understanding and using sales techniques needed to close orders
- Prepare sales proposals that meet customer expectations
- Make customer presentations
- Willingness to learn about all aspects of electrical and industrial distribution
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Industrial and/or Commercial experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Minimum 1 years of electrical distribution inside sales experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
- Lighting and Gear product and application knowledge preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional phone demeanor
