The Sr. Manager, Events is responsible for managing the events team and event marketing platforms for the high-impact delivery if in-person and virtual events covering a variety of education and training topics, in addition to networking among sales partners, supplier partners and Intelisys / ScanSource colleagues.
Essential Job Duties:
Act as liaison between Marketing, Sales, Supplier Services, and Partner Success.
Partner closely with go-to-market, sales, corporate communications, and digital teams to deploy a consistent brand experience through events.
Develop and deploy best practices for delivering world-class customer experiences.
Identify improvement areas in our processes and develop action plans to close any gaps.
Leverage strategic partnerships and media relationships to ensure marketing objectives are met.
Evaluate new vendors that promote efficiency, cost management, and scalability.
Responsible for overseeing and understanding the full scope of the event pipeline and goals as it relates to the planning, execution and follow-up ROI.
Assist with requested help and direction from event team members.
Responsible for implementing marketing strategy for post-events (ie. surveys, ROI Partner Stats, etc.)
Manage platforms in collaboration with Events & Marketing (includes both event-related platforms as well as company-wide systems like RPM, etc.)

Requirements:
College degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of Corporate Events experience
Budget management experience
Incredible Attention to detail
Highly Organized
Ability to understand goals and objectives of events as it relates to the "big picture"
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to multi-task
Preferred:
Experience working with a variety of platforms (Hubspot, CVENT, webinar platforms, etc.)
Management experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
Ability to lift 15 pounds.
Ability to work long hours and/or outside of standard work hours based on the nature of the event.
