SUMMARY: The Frac service tech is required to have or be able to acquire a knowledge of specialty chemical products for use in oil and gas operations. The Frac service technician performs chemical treatment of oil wells and is the primary field representative to assist and answer customer questions or concerns. JOB DUTIES: Manage chemical inventory and transfer to and from locationSet up and take down frac equipmentManage pumps, chemical lines, totes, rates and pressuresCommunicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough mannerInteract with customer and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issuesMonitor, maintain and troubleshoot field equipment in support of chemical treatment programsCollect and record data and on occasion present to company man or well site supervisorSubmit paperwork upon completion of fracUnderstand and perform inventory transfers (in/out)Knowledge of valve and well pressures while on oilfield locationsDemonstrates knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operationsMaintain company property in good order (equipment, tools, computer, phones, trucks, etc.)Other duties may be assigned This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
