Program Manager I- A.D Bruce Religion Center (Finance)
1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a small or medium-sized department or program.
2. Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence to budget.
3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluates performance.
4. May prepare or participate in the creation of abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation.
5. Reviews reports of budgets and activities.
6. Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
7. May administer grants and grant-related related communications, scholarships and other operations.
8. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies and procedures.
9. May serve as property custodian for the department.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: No experience required.

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising event set-up including, conferences, meetings, special events, vendor coordination, room reservation, and audio-visual equipment.
• Prepare and process financial documents and monitors cost center activities.
• May compose event communications for the College, monitor and coordinate event registration and provide status updates on upcoming events.
• Monitor and maintain events calendar.
• May assist in the preparation of contracts and other procurement instrument needed for services assigned.
• Serve as the initial contact for scheduled events and special events requested.
• Assist with coordination of all aspects of space management.
• Research opportunities to grow revenue, including but not limited to, pricing models, new clientele, special event options, etc.
• Prepare vendor contracts or other documents needed for procurement.
• Assist faculty, staff and student with personnel and administrative issues; serve as department liaison to administrative departments on campus.
• Coordinate department administrative operations including, telecommunications, maintaining personnel records of student employees, timesheets, work schedules.
• Interview, hire, train, develop and supervise student employees to work for department.
• Review personnel and administrative documents for adherence to university regulation.
