IT Support Specialist (Information Technology)
Antietam Broadband is looking for an IT Support Specialist! You will be a Go-to Resource for internal team members and contractors. You will be at the center of our efforts to keep internal email safe and threat-free. You will learn how our internal intranet and external customer portal work. You'll be the Wizard of WiFi and the IT Asset Provisioner-in-Chief. If you are looking for a place to grow and a friendly working environment, then Antietam Broadband is the place for you!
Job Type: Full-time
Rate: $22.00-$26.00/hr plus overtime and on call pay if applicable
Location: Office in Hagerstown, MD
Primary Responsibilities and Skills Include:
- Willingness to help team members with their internal IT requests and needs.
- Responsible for building, provisioning, maintaining, decommissioning, and deconstructing workstations and devices for our internal team members and contractors
- Ability to provision, maintain, upgrade, and decommission PCs and Macs
- Deeps sense of curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning
- Ability to identify and develop best practices for scaling up our internal IT practice.
- Fanatical attention to detail and a love of organization
- Experience with Web Filtering, Anti-Spam tools and procedures, Two-factor authentication
- Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows 10, Sierra, Linux, etc.)
A Successful IT Support Specialist will have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 1-3 years in a customer facing role
