Maintenance Technician (Maintenance)
Adhere to LOTO and all common safety practices or rules including the wearing of protective equipment as required.
Performs preventative maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and buildings with minimal supervision.
Ability to learn and use shop equipment, basic hand-held power tools to perform routine repairs safely and properly.
Reports any equipment or building conditions requiring repair to the Maintenance Manager
Complete all documentation as required by the Maintenance Manager.
Demonstrates consistent improvement in knowledge and skills as outlined in the criteria for advancement.
Assists other mechanics in maintaining a high level of productivity in the plant
Develops the ability to use the computerized maintenance management system to enter work requests and retrieve data on plant equipment.
Requests all materials necessary for the completion of designated job assignments.
Follow plant hygiene standard to ensure high integrity of product.
Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, HACCP, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
