This has resulted in our Valuation Services group growing steadily year over year and becoming one of the leading in the industry.
What will you be doing?
As part of a select and highly skilled Financial & Tax Reporting Valuation team, you will have the opportunity to assist in the valuation of a variety of personal property assets including manufacturing/process & associated plant equipment, office furniture, fixtures & related equipment; computer equipment & software; laboratory and test equipment; forklifts, trucks, trailers & construction equipment; tooling, jigs, molds, and dies; leasehold improvements; and construction in progress in the context of business combinations, impairment testing and measurement, fresh-start accounting, cost segregation, and other transactions. You will assist in the review and consideration of company provided information (including financial statements, fixed asset detail and records, and other relevant documentation) in order to derive indications of value using a variety of approaches including market and cost. You will also analyze market and industry information for use in the financial models and develop trend lines and other key statistics / inputs. You will also be involved in site inspections. Through your detailed analysis, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the client from the big picture to the smallest detail, including understanding of the operations of a client's business and how the personal property assets support the business operations and strategy .
Some of the primary responsibilities are:
The indications of value that are derived from your analysis will be used by clients in their financial statements, reports to their boards of directors, and required tax filings in various tax jurisdictions. Third-party auditors and tax advisors for the client will review your indications of value and test for soundness and completeness.

Core Qualifications:
Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours
Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive a discretionary contribution to their 401(k) from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $120,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
