About the Opportunity
The Facilities Management Department has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic, reporting to the Facilities Plant Ops Sr. Manager.
We are looking for a dependable, eager, and coachable individual to join our Maintenance Mechanic team. In this role you will provide a re-assurance in the upkeep of the facilities with the main duties of performing maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance service, and assist with HVAC and Electrical in the Baltimore location.
What You Will Do:
Conduct scheduled inspections for service and preventive maintenance on non-complex safety and operational equipment and fixtures, i.e. ladders, emergency eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, fire & sprinkler testing
Performs remedial painting on non-complex accessories and fixture throughout the facility.
Support the fleet vehicles (transport to dealer for service, wash, inspect)
Transportation of confidential documents for Shredding
Backup support for trash retention and disposal for the Cash Department
Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste-water disposal
Assist in moderately complex construction and/or installation activities related to facility MEP structure, infrastructure, and furnishings
Assigned tasks and duties are performed in compliance to OSHA safety regulations.
Backup support for delivery of packages and mail services (Bank/Tenants)
Utilized the CMMS program to document work performed
Performs installation of simple office furniture apparatus, room setups for conferences, meetings and events
Proficient with a variety of hand tools, electric meters, material handling equipment in performing assignments.
Snow/Ice removal and inclement weather clean up.
Qualifications:
Experience in handling and operating pressure washing equipment.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid State Driver's License
Certification in related trade (optional)
General understanding with personal computers and MS office.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call.
Experience in Furniture installation of various brands (preferred).
The Associate level requires 0 to 3 years of relevant experience, the Intermediate level requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, and the Senior level requires 5 to 9+ years of relevant experience.

The hiring range for the Associate level is $40,300 - $55,440. The Intermediate level is $47,400 to $65,560. The Senior level is $55,100 to $68,900.
This role requires that the Maintenance Mechanic be onsite 5 days per week.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
