Engineer: Graduate Recruitment Program (Finance)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Applying contemporary software solutions and techniques to implement changes and improvements to manufacturing automation and data systems,
• Developing professional skills and knowledge in areas adjacent to software and automation to ensure projects and solutions meet the needs of the manufacturing floor,
• Providing analysis of possible paths to a solution and advising on the best approaches,
• Exercising sound technical judgement,
• Presenting and discussing results with colleagues, and
• Fostering productive professional relationships.

Education & Experience

• Applicants must be undergraduate seniors who are scheduled to graduate by December 2024 or May 2025.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, LabView, Unity,
• Experience with SQL or similar databases a plus
• Experience with programmable controller configuration a plus

Working Conditions

• Work environment can range from office to lab to manufacturing floor.
• Work involving small to large equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to perform physical tasks in various positions: standing, crouching, kneeling, reaching
• Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Perform occasional lab or bench-level test work as needed
