You will manage aspects of the data onboarding work, including prioritization of backlog and upcoming requirements, creating detailed project plans and delivery timelines, manage stakeholder communication, required documentation, and progress tracking. You will ensure that data onboarding activities, both Greenfield (new data sources) and Brownfield (migrating existing data), are efficiently coordinated, risks are tracked, and deadlines are met.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills and experience in managing delivery plans using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint. You will play a key role in tracking progress, reporting metrics, and ensuring alignment across teams.
What you will be responsible for

• Update Jira and Confluence to ensure that all details (epics, stories, tasks, etc.) are well-documented, with clear timelines and expected deliverables.
• Capture the due dates for the anticipated delivery of data sources and ensure that these dates are updated as delivery progresses.
• Ensure that the Stage of data sources (Routing, Splunk/SIEM, Lakehouse-Bronze) is tracked, and dates are captured as the data progresses through various stages of onboarding. Business Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
• Gather business requirements for Greenfield onboarding and document them in Jira, ensuring the proper capture of project details for new data sources.
• Create and maintain documentation pages and inventory files for each data source, linking these to the respective epics in Jira. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:
• Facilitate communication between all relevant stakeholders, including onboarding engineers, app owners, SMEs, and governance teams.
• Engage stakeholders as necessary, pulling in SMEs, app owners, and governance team members into the Teams chat as their input is required.
• Ensure clear and continuous communication between the project and product team, business stakeholders, and technical teams to keep everyone aligned on progress and deliverables. Progress Tracking & Risk Management:
• Organize and lead weekly sync calls to track the progress of data onboarding and migration projects, ensuring that all tasks are on schedule.
• Identify and track risks and create mitigation plans when needed to prevent delays or issues.
• Ensure that risks are documented and communicated to the project leadership team. Status Reporting & Metrics:
• Conduct monthly progress reviews with project leadership, providing status updates, progress metrics, and identifying any challenges or delays.
• Provide an overall delivery status for the onboarding and migration projects planned for the quarter, clearly showing planned vs. completed tasks.
• Regularly update the progress for both Brownfield migration (migrating existing data sources) and Greenfield onboarding (onboarding new data sources) in each release cycle. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with onboarding engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of each data source migration or onboarding project.
