Job Description
The Lending Business Analyst Regular and Sr. Level (LBA) position is a liaison between lending and IT for all consumer lending system issues, releases and changes. The LBA is the system administrator for the LOS and is responsible for administering all rate changes, adding and deleting users, changing passwords, adding new products, creating reports, adding and deleting forms, mapping form fields, rate updates for indirect, etc. In addition, the LBA is the primary contact/support for all Loan Operations personnel, including the service centers, as it relates to LOS questions and issues. The LBA is a member of the Lending Quality Assurance team and is responsible for providing project management support for all lending initiatives, releases, conversions, mergers, and other special projects.
Essential Functions
- Loan Origination System (LOS) Administration: Maintain pricing and underwriting rules and parameters, loan document changes, user setup, etc. Provide support for all business units as it relates to the LOS. Liaison with the lending software company, including problem resolution, upgrades, functionality changes, and system integration issues, including responsibility for documentation of all changes. Coordinate all LOS testing and validation for all new releases, upgrades, and system changes, including creating test scripts and documentation of all changes. Monitor incoming department emails to ensure timely/accurate responses. Support of the Indirect lending platform(s) as a system administrator.
- Loan Origination Operational Analysis and Support: Works with the project team in identifying, researching, and choosing technology solutions as it relates to consumer lending. Creation of reports. This includes ad-hoc report requests, end-of-month reports for all lending business units, and consumer lending incentives. Research current lending processes through observation and interviews looking for efficiency opportunities, i. e. , deleting manual processes, adding technology, changing current processes, etc. Prioritize, monitor and document progress on projects/critical issues, and provide reports for future analysis. Subject matter expert for Jr Lending Business Analysts / other department employees.
- Act as back up for the Lending Project Team as needed.
- Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications
Minimum Formal Qualifications for the Regular Level Position:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or other related field
- 2+ years combined experience with system administration, consumer lending, or other analysis-driven work to include:
- 1+ years system administration/technical experience relevant to consumer lending systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or other related field
- 3+ years combined experience with system administration, consumer lending, or other analysis-driven work to include:
- 2+ years system administration/technical experience relevant to consumer lending systems.
Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong command of concepts relevant to lending system administration (user administration, system customization and configuration, custom reporting).
- Strong understanding of relational database design concepts, systems, and reporting methodologies.
- Working knowledge of consumer lending positions, functions, products, policies, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of report creation using database reporting.
- Knowledge of Project management concepts and their practical application.
- Ability to think logically, analyze problems, and take effective actions.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- (preferred) Knowledge of loan document creation and field mapping.

Additional Information
The pay range for the Regular Level position is: $26 to $33 per Hour (S14)
The pay range for the Sr. Level position is: $30 to $39 per Hour (S15)
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
