Assist the Social Service Director/Consultant in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the social service programs of this facility.
Assist with administrative duties as directed. Including but not limited to audits, computer charting, phone calls, filing, etc.
Interviewing residents and communicating with family members and internal staff as directed.
Scheduling appointments and coordinating with family, resident and facility driver as needed.
Participate in meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
1 year experience working in a SNF or similar medical environment is required.
Computer literacy and 1 year experience in office setting is required.
Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents.
Other details:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, daytime 8hr shifts
Pay will be $19-21/hr.
Local to Placerville area candidates are preferred
