Indirect Sourcing Analyst (Finance)
The Indirect Sourcing Analyst will report to the Director of Sourcing. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing indirect spend categories, including domestic transportation, IT, HR/employee services, packaging, chemicals, MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), facilities, and utilities. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating with vendors in these areas and a strong ability to drive cost savings, analyze expenditures, and enhance procurement processes.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize indirect spend categories.
• Lead cost-saving initiatives through supplier negotiations, contract management, and process improvements.
• Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures.
• Establish and improve indirect sourcing policies, processes, and procedures to enhance procurement effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, IT, HR, etc.) to ensure sourcing strategies align with business needs.
• Manage and develop vendor relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance, track key metrics, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
• Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and budgeting efforts.
Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor's degree - preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in indirect spend categories.
• Proven experience in vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software/tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
