The school includes the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, and the USF Professional Athletic Training (AT) Program. The DPT professional program enrolls approximately 50 students per class each year and is ranked in the top 35 per the US News and World Report. The USF Athletic Training Program was the first graduate professional AT program to be housed in a College of Medicine and currently has one of the largest and most diverse student populations in the country. The school's research mission generates over $5M in funded extramural research. The school also provides clinical services at the USF Physical Therapy Center in collaboration with other healthcare specialties. Haley VA Hospital, Lakeland Regional Health, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advent Heath, HCA Healthcare, etc.) offer clinical, educational, and research affiliations. \n Position Summary: \n The School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking adjunct instructors for teaching opportunities within our undergraduate Health and Physical Rehabilitation Science major in collaboration with the College of Public Health. Adjunct faculty should have a focus on physical rehabilitation science or a related field such as anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, kinesiology or biomechanics. Master's degree from an accredited institution in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).

All assigned classes will be in-person. Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to campus.

Doctoral degree in a related field (Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomechanics). Clinical faculty with joint degrees (DPT, ATC, MPH, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

The adjunct faculty are assigned to teach undergraduate courses for the Health and Physical Rehabilitation Science undergraduate major assigned through the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.

The adjunct faculty may serve on college committees and perform community and professional service activities where appropriate.

Teaching assignments will be made according to the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, and programs' curricular needs and/or priorities. Courses may include subject areas such as Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, and Kinesiology focused on rehabilitation science and clinical populations.
