Key Accountabilities
The position will be a team member within Luminant's Generation Services group. The position will be located at the Oak Grove mine complex that is located near Kosse, TX (Limestone and Robertson counties). The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Mine Planning for Dragline and Truck Shovel operations (short, mid and long term plans)
Have an understanding of regulations associated with contemporaneous reclamation operations.
Mine surveying including field work and data reduction (scanners and drones)
Civil design and project management of mine infrastructure construction projects
Production tracking and reporting
Lignite royalty calculations
Budget preparation
Financial analysis to support capital and O&M construction projects
Work with operations to optimize the use of the Fleet Management System and other equipment metrics tools
Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:
•4 yr. Bachelor's degree in Engineering. (Civil, Mining highly preferred)
•And 1-8 yrs. related job experience
•Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
