Design Engineer (Finance)

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Design Engineer will be responsible for designing fabricated components and assemblies for Masterack's work van and truck solutions, as well as Contract Manufacturing business. The successful candidate will ensure parts are designed and modeled per requirements. They will also ensure that new and existing fabricated parts are modeled and programmed to run in Masterack's automated equipment. This is a hands on position and we are looking for a self-starter capable of handling multiple projects. The candidate will also possess strong leadership skills including the ability to influence without authority.

This position is located in Social Circle, GA. Ability to travel as needed to suppliers, industry functions as assigned and Prototype/Pilot support as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Lean Six / Sigma Certifications is a plus
