Position Summary/Purpose: We are seeking an experienced salesperson with a background in multifamily / property management. This individual will establish contact with insurance agents, commercial property managers, multifamily managers, & property management companies for the purpose of arranging scheduled meetings and building relationships that lead to development of long-term partnerships and commitment to our company as their preferred vendor for restoration and cleaning services. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, creative individual with excellent time management and communication skills. Responsibilities: Develop sales strategies & campaigns.Create and maintain qualified prospect account lists.Perform sales calls resulting in scheduled meetings with target prospects.Develop & maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, and decision-makers within the multifamily and commercial property sector.Maintain phone and in-person contact with existing customers.Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and track progress using CRM tools.Make group presentations to prospective organizations.Coordinate with marketing on all campaigns.Collaborate with operations team to ensure client satisfaction.Create an individual annual sales plan identifying targets, revenue forecast and sales/marketing budget.Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring our companys values of quality and integrity are consistently represented.Consistent, effective involvement in trade, community, charitable, and networking organizations and participation in networking activities and events.Participation in local and regional associations. Qualifications: 3+ years of property management or multifamily management preferred. Strong understanding of property restoration services is a plus, but not required.Understands and effectively applies the concepts of relationship selling, differentiation, and adding value. Knows customer markets and the issues and challenges they face and can translate that information into useful selling strategies. Builds long-term relationships that drive increased revenue and demand for services.Effectively builds professional relationships and networks. Brings value to customers and prospects and maintains appropriate level of contact.Proven track record of sales goal attainment in a longer selling cycle environment, preferably within the multifamily or commercial property sectors.Professional in appearance and demeanor. Treats people with respect. Takes the initiative to continually develop his/her professional skills. Sets high standards of performance for self. Low tolerance for mediocrity.Understands the concepts and content of financial reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.Possesses strong math skills. Able to translate information regarding a prospects business into estimated revenue potential. Comfortable comparing actual performance to established plan for selling activity and revenue generation.Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Effective in one-on-one, small, and large group situations. Adaptable and able to think on his/her feet. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software including CRM tools and MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
