The purpose of this position is to support the development of and implement brand marketing strategies that maximize business unit sales and drive customer advocacy. This includes developing marketing strategies for assigned Marketing campaigns, conducting secondary research to support brand marketing initiatives, and managing the creation of new and updated Publix private label product packaging.
Responsibilities Include:
Developing and implementing marketing strategies for select Marketing campaigns. Serving as secondary point of contact between designated business partners and other Marketing teams.
Supporting product innovation and development of private label products. Lead the development of new private label product packaging and manage packaging updates.
Managing Marketing projects such as environmental signage requests, coordinating product requests for photo shoots, information collection to support strategy development, and campaign/digital content audits.
Conducting and analyzing secondary research to identify opportunities (i.e., market trends, competitive analysis) that support brand marketing initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communication from an accredited university or equivalent experience
A minimum of four (4) years of marketing experience
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in marketing strategy development, product marketing, or brand management
Strong knowledge of brand management and marketing strategy development
Strong knowledge of research principles, methodology and business analysis
Strong knowledge of grocery and/or retail, consumer, and competitive environments
Knowledge of product development process
Knowledge of presenting strategy briefs and delivering creative concepts
Knowledge of customer segmentation
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point computer software programs
