We are searching for a motivated & experienced Director of Food Service Responsible for the co-development and execution of Company sales strategies, goals and objectives, which ensure the achievement of availability, visibility and sales with distributors and foodservice operators. Directs and coordinates the activities of the local broker partners and distributor sales teams by implementing the overall sales strategy for the Company; which will achieve the pre-determined short- and long-term growth and profitability goals of the company. Directs and coordinates the promotion of sales and distribution of the relative products by means of promotions, or seminars by performing the following duties personally or through other members of the organization Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Develops and maintains relationships with key customers both operators and distributors.Leads the execution of all customer agreements/programs through strong teamwork and communication with Broker partnersDevelops and executes a program negotiating strategy for existing and new customers that will achieve volume and profit objectives.Develops and manages budgets to optimize existing business and establish new accounts.Coordinates sales distribution by helping management in assigning sales territories to brokers or sales personnel and advises distributors, and clients concerning new products or changes in prices or other related information.Provides leadership and direction in the development of broker partners. Develops the overall skill set of Brokers.Travels to different area locations to set up product presentations, bake off product, set-up promotional shows, seminars, or to resolve customer complaints or problems.Reviews sales statistics with management to determine customer needs and help to develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.Represents Company at trade shows, or other functions to promote the sale of product.Coordinates sales department with management and other departments.Manages the profitability and sales results of territory.Implements key initiatives (KPIs). In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for: Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulationsAs part of your supervisory responsibility and as a back-up, supervisors must be able to do your work in ways that ensure safe food. You must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. Formal training is not required, but in house Food Safety Training conducted by a qualified staff member is mandatory. You must know how to recognize, prevent and alleviate food safety hazards.
