Patient Care Coordinator (Healthcare)
The Patient Care Coordinator will field in-bound phone calls to schedule patient appointments, answer questions,
understand insurance benefits, and provide details about pediatric and orthodontic services. This
position must ensure that the patient and parent or guardian are the number one priority. This support
is crucial to the delivery of the Companys mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral
health.
Hours: Monday adn Thursday 8-5 and Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-5pm
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.Bilingual is required.
JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is
desired.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills- must be able to establish and maintain
positive working relationships.Must be customer service oriented and communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.Communication- effective written and verbal communication is a must with all inbound callers,
staff, and leadership.Must be able to project a capable and professional image that is reflective of Company Values.Must possess excellent organizational skills- strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and
perform job duties in a timely manner.Must have PC skills and be able to learn and successfully use new programs as required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with
a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.
