This role is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a hybrid work arrangement - individuals may be required to work some days in the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland while working the other days from home.
Organizational Expectations:
Resilience Central is a cross-district team responsible for developing and driving implementation of System-level resilience, continuity and crisis management strategies and overseeing the Federal Reserve System business continuity technology program. Resilience Central engages with business partners in FRS Districts, national lines of business, and subcommittees, and supports the System Crisis Management Team.
You will serve as an intermediate advisor in Business Relationship Management (BRM) with basic strong knowledge of BRM competencies and concepts as defined by the BRM Institute and understand and promote an adequate array of System resilience and business continuity services and solutions. Working with business partners you will have a basic understanding of their strategies, mission, objectives and day-to-day operations. You will also create and maintain robust relationships and collaborative partnerships with Resilience Central business partners by having a shared ownership for developing and meeting the businesses' strategic objectives and increasing business value by providing proactive, collaborative, and consultative services to Resilience Central business partners. In the role, you will articulate business value for any initiative to the highest levels of the organization.
General Responsibilities:
• Act as an advocate of Resilience Central's stakeholder engagement model.
• Continually learns the full array of Resilience Central products and services that are offered, matching these offerings with business partners, and working with business partners to drive adherence to FRS business continuity standards.
• Understand the needs of business partners and their business requirements, ensuring requests for Resilience Central products and services are effectively communicated, tracked, reported, resolved and/or escalated.
• Assist specific business partners in navigating their needs due to an understanding of information systems, business processes, and the short- and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Listen in on strategic conversations of business needs and assists in the design of solutions through direct engagement with business partners and the Resilience Central Team to successfully align and maximize plans, trainings, exercises, and technology to support business initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement projects by taking guidance in learning how existing business processes should increase productivity, enhance quality, and promote and socialize business continuity initiatives.
• Take the role of learning how to improve the Business Relationship Management Program and Roadmap, focusing on ways to increase business value through Resilience Central capabilities and relationship maturity.
• Support Resilience Central crisis management responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, management, or related field preferred
• 5+ years related work experience
• BRM professional certification or equivalent experience
Knowledge and Skills:
• Understanding of effective relationship management
• Understanding of business continuity and crisis management services
• Ability to perform independent research
