Position Summary:
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics of the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 12-month, full-time, Postdoctoral Scholar position to begin August 7, 2025. This position carries a teaching load of three courses per year.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Mathematics or closely related field is required. The degree must be conferred by the appointment start date. Applicant must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Scholar.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. within the last three years and whose research interests are in coding theory, quantum computing, or a related area.
