Solution Developer (Finance)
Job Description: Collaborate with the Lead Consultant to develop sustainable energy, resiliency, efficiency, and resource management strategies for industrial and manufacturing clients. Conduct energy audits in industrial and manufacturing facilities. Lead and partner with clients in developing in-person and virtual site performance workshops, including energy audits, analysis, and prioritization of identified Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs). Coordinate activities such as ECM prioritization, vendor selection, bid walkthroughs, and request for proposals to provide indicative proposals on projects. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within the company to coordinate service and solutions delivery. Build, evaluate, and maintain relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and product and service companies. Contribute to the development of training resources for both internal and external clients. Position eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week. Position requires 15% domestic travel for on-site facility audits throughout US states and territories.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (5 years with Bachelor's or 3 years with Master's) in efficiency engineering, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience with the following skills: Developing projects and solutions focused on tender and procurement; Developing, managing, and executing client solutions; Advanced energy engineering to identify and qualify opportunities; Calculating complex energy savings from engineering adjustments; Identifying and evaluating various commercial building systems in the field (Automation, Electrical, Envelope, HVAC [air-side, water-side, and DX], Lighting, and Plumbing); Obtaining as-built information about buildings through site visits and energy audits; Obtaining information about existing annual operating conditions of buildings, including schedules, set points, and other HVAC control strategies; Leading workshops and providing professional client presentations; and Understanding of measurement and validation to confirm results. Certification required: Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
