Job Title: Load Builder
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay Rate: $15.14 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Plant Supervisor & Production Manager
Position Summary:
The Load Builder plays a key role in preparing linen orders for delivery to healthcare clients. This position involves accurately reading client tickets, selecting the correct linen products, and loading them into carts in the correct sequence and quantity to meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and differentiate between various linen products and their uses.
Accurately read customer order tickets and load corresponding items into delivery carts.
Weigh carts before and after loading and input data into a computer system.
Use handheld scanners for inventory tracking.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Multitask effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the production team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to count and verify items against order lists.
6 months to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or similar industries.
Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods.
Lift 25–50 lbs regularly; push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
Familiarity with safety procedures and ability to follow them.
Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
Working Environment:
Industrial laundry production setting.
Exposure to loud noises, temperature variations, and moving machinery.
